i'm a little teapot.
The girls got a new tea set from the thrift store last week. It sings, I'm a little teapot. Grace decided to add a little more choreography to the regular moves. My favorite is the "when I get all steamed up" hip shakin action. She is so cute. We keep telling Gracie that she 'flipped her six year old switch early'. I firmly believe that sometime before a child turns six, there is a huge change in behavior. No more fits, little to no attitude, super helpful... it's grand. The other day after school Grace told me that she wanted to help me do some work and proceeded to get out the cleaner to clean walls. She is so great. I'm so lucky to have her. (P.S. She is obsessed with skinny jeans.)

I hope Lilly's 6-year-old switch changes soon, then. She's been AWFUL lately. :(
Grace's skinny jeans are SO CUTE! Too bad I don't look that cute in them, eh? ;)
See, that is the problem with the skinny jeans fad...they only look really good on 6 yr olds. Gillian underwent the same transformation. She just had her 6th birthday last week, but for the past month or two has totally supplanted James in being the first to volunteer to help, or to pre-emtively help Eleanor etc. It has been awesome to watch her grow in this way.
That last picture is so cute of Grace. I love her hair like that.
Oh man I hope we see a switch soon. It has been rough around here lately.

then they turn 11.....and the switch is on for everyone BUT you! Can you tell my perfect in everyway, always winning positive attitude awards, straight A, awesome daughter is totally getting on my nerves right now?! :)

Naree is obsessed with her skinny jeans too. But i've convinced her a few times to get straight legs {closest to skinny jeans}Only kids look that cute in them!
