green day.
We decided to go to the zoo on St. Patrick's day right after Lincoln and Gracie got out of school. It ended up being a short trip because traffic was horrible... but we still managed to have a fun time. We saw a ton of frogs and lizards. The frogs are always a favorite.
I think they're looking at turtles.... my favorite.
Graham is becoming more and more like Lincoln every day. He loves and looks up to him so much. It's really quite adorable.
I had to get a picture of them all lined up on the wall... sometimes it's hard to believe that they are all mine.
Jayne's favorite bird was perched up high on a branch. We waited quite a while for her to come down and scare us again... but she was too happy up there.
The world is her stage. She stood up there and sang for a good five minutes. I'm sure the leopard behind the window enjoyed the show.
There was the cutest little baby monkey! We had fun watching the parents fight over him. One would be holding him and the other would come snatch him up and run away! It was quite funny.
After a super long drive home... we had green pancakes and milk for dinner.
A pretty low-key holiday... but it was fun. Maybe next year I'll be more creative and we'll try to catch a leprechaun.

Green pancakes, what in the world is up with that. I think your zoo looks like a pretty awesome one.
