girls night.

Gracie and I had our fun girls night on Friday. It started Thursday night with putting curlers in her hair so that she could be beautiful! (Jayne got her first curlers in that night...)
She was so funny all day. Before school she told me, "I have so much to do today. I have to go to school, come home, do my homework, get my fancy dress on, do my hair, get my accessories on..... I think we're going to be late to Shrek." She about had a heart attack every few minutes saying, "I bet it already started! We have to go!" Even though we still have over two hours until we had to leave. She was beyond excited to say the least!
Jayne was feeling a little left out and wanted to be included in the picture taking before hand. For some reason this picture turned out all tweaky when I uploaded it... it's still adorable. She got so excited once we were at the theater! She wanted a picture taken with the poster. When we walked into Palace Theater, she had the biggest eyes, taking it all in! She kept saying things like, "It's beautiful!", "I bet a real princess lived here before it was a theater!", or "Look at those beautiful lights! Can I have one of those in my room?" It was adorable. Our seats were at the very top of the theater, so we had to walk past a bunch of people to get to them. There were so many oohs and aahs over her dress and how fancy she was for her night at the theater! She was very polite and said thank you to each and every one of them. This musical was incredible! I wasn't expecting much since I don't love the Shrek movies.... but after reading the reviews, I decided that it was worth the $20 we spent for our tickets. It was so adorable! Our favorites were the dragon, Lord Farquaad and the little princess fiona. The music was incredible. I am tempted to buy the soundtrack for this song alone! If it ever comes to Cleveland again... we're taking the whole family! It was just too good. Thanks for the fun girls night, Gracie!
