A special thank you to my parents for coming out to visit. I know it isn't easy taking time off of work to make the trip out here and it really means the world to my family and I that you would sacrifice so much to come out and see us. It meant the world to Lincoln that you were able to be here on his baptism day. He will forever remember that you were there. We hope you enjoyed your time with us... and have a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY today! We love you guys.

zoo day.
The kids really wanted to take gramma and grampa to the zoo as well. Specifically the rainforest. So we packed up a lunch and headed out! We ate lunch with lots of bees.... not so fun. We caught four of them in our soda bottles while we were eating!
It ended up being a good day to visit the rainforest since it was a little hot. On the way Graham asked to take a picture with his favorite orangutan.
Grace wanted to pose as well. She looks so grown up in this picture... it kills me.
Lincoln is still in the anti-picture phase and decided to hide in the bushes instead.
Peter was the angel baby as usual.... (are you getting tired of hearing that phrase yet?)
Jayne really wanted a 'sister picture' but Grace was having nothing to do with it.
Right before the rainstorm in the rainforest... the kids love it when it gets all misty in there.
We went up into the bird place and a bird promptly pooped on Graham's face! He was such a good sport about it!
Luckily Jayne had some amoxicillin in her little body for this outing and had very minor meltdowns.
Still happy as can be!
Checking out the anteaters...
Can you spot the baby monkey?
This monkey was being a real show off... he was fun to watch.
Lincoln asked for the camera when we were on our way to the car and took an upside down picture of himself.
It was a very fun trip to the zoo. I loved having extra hands to help with the kids! I think my parents are convinced that I need a nanny to keep up with all of my woogaboos. I would settle for one of my little sisters coming and living in my attic for a few weeks! Any takers?!
