We have this amazing Thrift Store here that I adore. On Monday's everything in the store is 50% off. I was able to find this bumper pad for Peter's bed and it only cost me $1. Yes, I said $1. There are stripes on one side...
And these adorable polka dots on the other. I looked online when I came home and it retails for $89 in the store. And I believe that is the clearance price. What a steal!
The only problem was that I needed a quilt to match. Luckily I can handle that. I decided to follow the same striped pattern, only larger scale.
I LOVE how it turned out! My mom quilted a little star pattern on the whole thing. I wish I had one big enough for my bed. I love it so much.
Speaking of my bed... I think it needs a little makeover. It's time I made a quilt for myself.
