Bronchitis.
So, the day before we left North Carolina I started feeling really yucky. It started with a headache. On the way home it was a nagging headache and I started feeling pain when I breathed in deeply. For three days after we got home I had fever, chills, body aches and major headaches. It was horrible. Once all of that went away, I got a cough. Whenever I coughed I felt serious pain in this one spot in my back, and in my chest. I knew that I was in trouble. The day of Lincoln's baptism I started feeling the headache again, and the pain in my back and chest was really bad. That coupled with the fact that I'd been alone with sick kids for three days (Jeremy was at an endo conference), was now hosting 7 people at our house, I had put together the baptism program and everything that goes into it... made for one exhausted little me.
My parents took me to the emergency room, but we were never seen because the wait was just way too long and I was starting to feel a little better. After a good nights sleep I was feeling loads better but not 100%. I was finally able to locate an urgent care and went in to see a doctor before my parents went home and I lost my awesome baby-sitters. The verdict: Acute Bronchitis. I was put on steroids, breathing treatments, and an antibiotic.
Grace, Peter and I are all still feeling yucky. I can't wait until we're all healthy again!
