birthday girl.

Jayne's birthday started bright and early.  At 6am she bounced into our room begging, "Momma... can we open my pwesents now?"  She was just a little excited.
Everyone loves her new Loving Family Dollhouse!  Even the boys.  Luckily we opened presents early enough that they were all able to play before the headed to school.
When I asked Jayne what she wanted to do for her birthday she said, "Go to a restaurant and go to the rain forest and see  Big Lincoln."  (He's gone from Little Lincoln to Big Lincoln.)
Luckily Lincoln didn't have any other plans and joined us for the morning.  As Jayne says, "He is my best friend."
They love each other just a teensy bit...
Instead of the rain forest we went to the craft store instead.  Jayne and Lincoln held hands to and from the car.  They are so dang cute.
She decided she wanted to stay home in the afternoon to play with her new dollhouse instead of going to the rain forest.  I didn't mind.  It was nice to have a quiet afternoon in.  When it was time to pick up the kids I asked her if she'd like to go on a walk to pick them up.  She was thrilled with the idea!
We decided to collect pretty leaves along the way.  That was lots of fun.
She decided it would be really fun to throw lots of leaves all over Peter...
He thought it was almost as funny as she did!
He was really interested in his shoes.  This is the first time I've ever put shoes on him!  He had fun trying to kick them off.  He succeeded a few times.
Her favorite thing to do along the way.... RUN, RUN, RUN!
We had a few minutes to spare before the bell rang so she went down the slide.  In her words, she did it again...
 ...and again....
 ... and AGAIN!
We walked most of the way home with several children from our neighborhood.  I think Gracie's friend, Rosette, has a little crush on Lincoln.  She walked with him and tried to get him to talk to her the entire way.
Once we hit our street, I told them they were free to run!  They love to run down our street.  I love our tree lined street so much.
Once we were back home Jayne disappeared again up to her room.  To say she loves her present is an understatement.  I think we'll be getting a lot of good use out of this toy!
Her birthday party is this morning.  Six of her friends are coming over for a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party fit for our birthday princess!
