christmas time is here.

The day after we got home from Chicago we begun to make our home all cozy for Christmas.  I decorated the house while the kids were at school.  They were so happy when they came home!  We had Family Home Evening that night that consisted of singing lots and lots of Christmas songs.  It was heavenly.
After a short lesson, we jumped in the car and headed to our local Home Depot to pick out the perfect Christmas tree! (You can get a real tree for less than $20 there!)
The kids had fun picking it all out all by themselves with little input from Jeremy and I...
They would point to one, have Jeremy stand it up tall and say, "Nope." until they found the perfect tree for us.
We all knew it when we saw it!  The perfect Wilde Family tree...
We decorated it the next day.  Trees are so magical!
The kids all have their own trees in their room that they get to decorate however they want to.  I'm really scrooge-y and only let certain ornaments go on the main tree.  I worked hard to make the round balls the last year and a half.  This year it all came together.  I am in love!
Graham was thrilled when I let him put the sparkly star on top!
We keep our decorations pretty simple, all in one room of the house.  I am looking forward to adding more decorations through the years.  I love our mantle...
And above the piano...
My favorite addition this year is my wreath!  I love coming home to this front door!
