1st Annual Elf Party.

I decided to spread some Holiday cheer and invited all of the youth to our house for an Elf party.  We ate tons of pizza, drank a lot of hot cocoa and watched the movie.
I absolutely adore the youth in our ward.  They deal with things that I never dreamed of when I was that age.  They are so strong and confident in their beliefs.  It is really impressive.
The currents Young Women's president is moving away in June, so I know my time with these kids is short.  It makes me physically ill to think about getting released from this calling.  My time with them has been so short.
Jeremy was the Young Mens president in our ward before he was called to be a member of the Bishopric.  He was thrilled that several of his boys came to our party.  I caught him looking at them several times through out the night.  They are like members of our family.  We love them so much.
Jayne decided to become the master photographer after the movie was over... hence all of these stellar portraits of our friends....
We decided to make this a yearly tradition... even if we're not their leaders, we are still going to throw them a party each year.  Maybe next year we'll make it more of an Elf themed party.  We'll see...
