We are lucky enough to have the sisters missionaries over for dinner almost every week. It is so wonderful to have the spirit in our home so strongly in the middle of the week! We've been blessed to have the same sisters for the past few transfers so our family has really gotten to know them well. It will be really hard for me when they go. These sisters have such a big piece of my heart!
They are so awesome... they always bring a little message with them and usually it's geared toward the kids. This time they did the object lesson where they put a ring (happiness) inside a bowl of water and add pepper (mistakes) so that you can't get to it without getting dirty. Then they did the magic trick of putting a little dish soap (repentance) on their hand to make the pepper go away so you can get the ring without getting dirty. It was awesome. The kids ate it right up.
