I made this quilt for our favorite kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Malek. Both Grace and Lincoln had her and she is the most incredible person. She got transferred to another school this year and I cried buckets because that meant that Graham wouldn't get to have her for Kindergarten. It was a very sad day. 
We were able to visit her in her new classroom last week when we gave her the quilt. She let us help organize her books while we were there. The good part is, now she's our friend... and not just our teacher. We're hoping to keep in touch and become even better friends! She really is incredible.
