last summer day at the zoo.

We had a very fun-filled last week of summer. We went to the museum, ate lunch with daddy, went to several parks, to the movies, and spent the day at the zoo. It was very memorable and we all had a lot of fun. I think the zoo was my favorite though. I love that place. They have a new elephant habitat that is so much nicer than the old one.
Graham and Jayne love the elephants. They could watch them all day long.

I love these guys.... but they smell terrible!

Riding the 'train'. aka the tram.

So happy to be out of the stroller!

There is a playground at the zoo... my kids love it when we ride the tram up to play on it.

My mom sent Lincoln this shirt for his birthday. It's scratch and sniff! It really smells like pepperoni pizza when you scratch it!

Graham is always in his own little world.... I love him so.

Grace was so over the zoo after about 30 minutes. She's so funny.

My current favorite gummy grin! 8 months old and still no teeth. The giant, giant turtles!

I love that we can ride the tram up.... and then take the winding wooden paths back down. It's so fun to run down all of them... and it's such a pretty part of the zoo.

The koala was outside in the tree! He was so pretty.

Lincoln was thrilled that I let him push Peter most of the day. We always have a buddy when we go to the zoo. He loves it when he gets to be Peters.

Funny picture time! They have all of these little elephant statues around the zoo in honor of the new elephant habitat. Jayne loves the candy one and insists on a picture by it each time we go... she's quite the little poser!

It will be strange taking just two of the kids to the zoo from now on. We'll have to take a few after school trips so that the other kids get to come too.

We need to check out our zoo here sometime. Those turtle pictures are cool.
