wilde fun.
Our main purpose in visiting Utah, was to spend some time with Emily and Ryan. Ryan was diagnosed with Leukemia about 2 months ago. We felt helpless clear over hear in Ohio and wanted to get out there as soon as possible to help with anything that we could for a few days. We were able to see Ryan the first day we came and completely wore him out talking to him way too long. (I tried to leave, I promise!) We got to help them by watching their kids at Grandma's house a few days, and Jeremy was able to come and visit alone several times. We neglected to get any pictures with him (SO mad about that). For Peter, meeting Emily was love at first sight. I have never seen him so animated with anyone before!
Jayne immediately bonded with her cousin Jonas. It must be the red hair. They were so cute together.
We spent the first few days with the Wilde's. Lily is one of the cutest little girls I have ever met. She is adorable on the outside, but even more adorable on the inside. She has the sweetest temperament. Even though she loves her mommy more than anyone on the planet, we were able to make friends with her. Especially the little people.
I don't know why, but this picture makes me smile every time I see it. Something about seeing all three of the Wilde boys together makes me so happy. We have missed family time so much.
Cameron has grown up so much since we moved to Ohio. He is now a Senior in High School and plays a mean trumpet. He has some serious talent. He was so sweet with Peter. He figured out just how to make him giggle.
There is nothing like seeing your kids interact with their cousins. I have fond memories of playing with my cousins growing up. It was always a treat. Seeing my own children form bonds makes me so happy. And, I love Max' face in this picture. He is the funniest kid.
We were all surprised with this match-up. Grace and Max had the best time together!
Graham and Max were buddies too. They loved to do silly things together. I am amazed at how well all of the kids got along on this trip. We haven't been so lucky in the past.
We were able to have Family Home Evening with everyone one night while we were there. The girls had fun singing primary songs in the windowsill.
