birthday boy!

We got to celebrate Jeremy's 31st birthday while we were at his parents house. It was the day before we went home. We had dinner outside.... it was nice... but a little too windy. He was spoiled with gifts... His mom made him two kinds of cookies from his childhood. She loves him so.
None of the kids helped him blow out the candles! That was a miracle.
Graham had been dying to see Elliot eat a lit candle for years. He asked him to do it for him... Jeremy was able to spend time with two childhood friends, Leland and Jared. We only got a picture with Jared... sorry Leland. (We completely forgot to document the bbq my childhood friend threw for me, still sad about that.) After the kids went to bed, we played Minute to Win it games. If you are ever in the mood to laugh... google these games and you'll have a ball! This one was called 'Junk in the Trunk'. You had to shake the ping pong balls out of a Kleenex box taped to your backside. Quite comical, unless you're the one doing it! This one was super fun... you had to wear a scuba diving flipper and flip a tortilla from your foot to the plate on your head! Here is Cameron mid flip... And he made it! The teams ended up being Bethanie and the in-laws against all of the other Wilde's. It was awesome. Here we are trying to stack blocks on a plate balanced on our heads... Elliot was really good at that game. At the end of the night Elliot challenged Jeremy to an arm wrestle... I guess it's some kind of tradition.
Elliot won! Jeremy did put up a good fight though.
We had the best time with both of our families during this trip. We loved every minute and will cherish the memories that we made during our two week stay! Can't wait until next time!
