nate's graduation.

I'm still having a hard time believing that my little brother just graduated from High School. I mean, he's been bigger than me for years and years... but he'll always be two year old Nate in my eyes. He sure looked studly on his big day. Decked out in leis (one from his birthmom, two from us, another from a friend) and his sunglasses.
They had their graduation old school style on the football field. I thought it was the best idea ever! Much better than the Marriot Center or McKay Events Center in my opinion. Since it was outside they got to have para-gliders.

Graham thought it was so cool. All of the other kids and Jeremy were too hot and tired to stay the whole time. Graham and I had fun coloring pictures and making jokes with Aunt Natalie. (Like making fun of the redneck dad that yelled, "TURN UP THE VOLUME!!!!" in the middle of the valedictorian's speech... classic.)Nate sang in the choir and accompanied them on electric guitar. He's pretty much the stud of the school. All the girls love him... and the boys want to be him (or punch him because he's so awesome).

They did the coolest thing I've ever seen at a graduation. Each year the principal chooses a theme song for the class. They teach them some simple actions to go along with the song and they perform it at their graduation. The principal, teachers and all of the students performed it one last time for us. It was way cooler than it sounds... I promise. If my child was graduating... this is the part I would have broke down bawling. I think my mom did.

Afterwards we took some fun pictures with Nate. Here he is with Natalie... they are my favorite.
And my beautiful sister, Megan. It was so fun to spend time with her family as well. With Jeremy... or J-dawg as he affectionately calls him. They are band buddies.

And me... I love that kid so much.I am so proud of you, Nate!
