(We got back from our trip a few days ago and blogging all of the pictures is completely overwhelming for me right now. There are about a gazillion other things that need my attention more. Someday I will get around to doing it. Today is not that day. )

teacher gifts.
We decided to go easy on the teacher gifts this year. I went and bought a little parsley plant for each of them (the basil looked really sad). I had the kids color a little paper doll cutout for each of their teachers (Lincoln has one, Gracie has two and Grammy has three). Grace colored hers to look like her teachers, and the boys made them look like themselves. Then we taped them to a skewer, and taped a little sign on the paper dolls hand that said, "Thank you for helping me 'grow' this year!" and had the kids sign their names. Super simple, super cute.
I have big plans for Gracie's teachers this year... more on that later. Also, notice how Graham spelled his name. Complete mirror image of how it should be. He does that about 50% of the time.

Cute idea! I've been trying to decide what to do for Sarah's teacher.
So, I was way disappointed to find out that we missed seeing you guys in Utah by LESS THAN A DAY! Lame. :D Next time, hopefully!
