the windy city.

Once we made it into the city, we headed to our destination.  Dunkin Donuts!  We figured we should keep it simple with 8 kids in tow.  The weather started nice, just a little rain.
We knew we were in for lots of walking.  Luckily there were really nice things to see along the way.
Like the Sears Tower!
Jeremy ended up carrying two kids at once for part of the time.  He got lots of stares!
Cute little cousins!
Yeah for donuts!  I'm pretty sure that the workers were incredibly happy when we left.  ;)
We realized that we had a lot of time to kill before we could take the train back home so we decided to venture through the city a little more.
I was thrilled to see the diamond building... famous because it's in the movie Adventures in Baby-Sitting!  Loved that show as a kid.
Oh sweet baby Ju-Ju.  She is just adorable.  Makes me want a baby girl of my own!  Maybe in a few years.  I'm content with my little Mr. for now.
The kids had fun taking turns with the umbrella along the way.  Graham loved that it was so giant.  It was raining buckets after awhile.  Luckily the wind didn't come too, that would have been even more miserable.
We can't wait to come back in the summertime so this lady can squirt us with water...
