I have two friends who are having babies in a few months. They are also both moving away (boo!) I had to make them quilts really quick with no time to send them to my mom for quilting. Here's how the first one turned out. 
This one is super lightweight because my friend is moving to Florida. *lucky* There is no batting in between the fabric. I think it's the perfect beach baby blanket.

I love the colors, the pink, blue and green together. I am totally going to try out that first pattern someday. Thanks for sharing.
