what time is it? it's valentimes!

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day this year. We celebrated on Saturday and got to spend half the day without kids... we love our kids... but it was nice to just focus on each other for the day. We even left Peter... gasp! One of the many perks of bottle feeding. We went to PF Changs for lunch. It was so tasty... Jeremy got the Mongolian beef (their signature dish).I got the Cantonese Shrimp. It was so light and delicious! We also splurged and he got me flowers... and I got him chocolates. Good times. We spent the evening at the Valentine's Dinner Dance our youth put on. Jeremy and I were so proud. We dreamed this activity idea up in our beds one night... four year later, it's still going strong! It was fun to officially pass the torch on and just enjoy the night instead of spending it in the kitchen. They did a great job!The kids talked me into giving them their Valentine's gifts from us a day early. Here they are all lined up ready for their presents. (Lincoln wanted his placed in his hood.)
We were showered with love from both sides of our family in the form of handmade cards in the mail, packages and phone calls. It was so nice to feel the love. We had a wonderful family home evening on Monday night where we spotlighted each member of the family telling them how much we love them. I love this holiday!
