slacking.
Since I've had Peter.... certain things have fallen by the wayside a little bit. Housework, the girls hair, and laundry to name a few. I'm slowly getting back into the groove and my house is more tidy, the girls look more presentable... the laundry-- well, I'll get to it someday, I'm sure.
I had my six week check-up at the doctor and was given the go ahead to start exercising again. This is something that I've been dreading and looking forward to all at the same time. I can't afford to get a membership to the gym again... but I did invest in my very own step and some fun step dvds. I call my step, "Jill Jill".
The first day I tried it was hard work! After doing nothing but growing a human for 9 months, and then recovering from that for another month... my body is super out of shape. I was only able to make it through half the workout. I have high hopes to do the entire thing very soon. Jayne even tried to do her own step routine right next to me. Mostly, she just likes to use mine for a stage. She'll stand on it and sing her little heart out.
Those of you with young children at home... when do you find time to work out? I'm struggling to get into a good routine.

In AZ I set up this deal where everyday I went to the church and invited all who wanted to join me. I taught a hard-core workout that involved strength training as well as aerobics. It was great. The kids played while we worked out. But, with the church being so far away, it wouldn't work here. Plus, I think the church has come down on things like that and now require a priesthood holder to be present. Anyway, maybe a couple of nights a week after the kids have gone to bed we could get together and do a work out video or a made up routine together. I have a large basement, so does Kristen if we moved that table. Anyway, I guess I won't be working out for a while anyway, but I'd be down with that when the time comes. It's always better to have a work out partner or group. :)
way to go! I run and push my kids. I can only go when Ashlyn is at preschool so I only am pushing two. I refuse to get a triple. But that gets tricky where you are because it is so cold and often snowy. I think you have a good set up. Try exercising early in the morning, or during nap time or after they go to bed. You really have to get creative and find something you enjoy!
oh, in one of my utah wards we had a babysitting co-op. It was wonderful. If you are interested in more info on this let me know. This would help you find time to exercise.
