museum time!

Two of our friends have passes to the museum we love so we all spent the afternoon together last week. It was fun to go with friends... we've never done that before. Sometimes having more kids makes it easier somehow. Funny how that works.
My favorite part of this museum is they have this whole section that changes every few months. It's usually some kind of hands-on exhibit for the kids to explore. Right now it's a building set up. Graham could live there if I let him. He totally digs this kind of thing.

The kids spent more time looking at the glassed in exhibits than we ever have before. I noticed this old time 'quilt' hanging on the wall in one of them. It's actually a rug made out of seal skin.

Grace and Lilly were inseparable. It was really sweet.

They walked around like this half the time. I'm so glad our kids have so many friends out here.

You can't go to the museum without taking a picture on the bear...

It wouldn't be an outdoor outing with out Graham finding a bug! This time it was a roly poly.

Angel baby.... love this kid.

Grace was tired, hot and hungry... but stayed happy the entire time we were there. That was a miracle.

Crazy Graham.

Poser Jayne. I think she has a modeling career in her future.

Such cute friends....

Lucy and Linus were very active. I love watching those two otters!

We went down to the Discovery Center and found a man with live birds! It was so fun to listen to him talk about them while the kids played.

This is the only shot Lincoln would allow me to take. He's very anti-picture lately.

Digging for dinosaur bones!

Owls are amazing creatures. I love how they can swivel their heads all the way around!

They all played so well together.

My favorite Harry Potter owl!
Can't wait for our next visit together!
