more fourth of July!
I daresay we had the best fourth of July we've had since we moved to Cleveland. It was so much fun spending the day with our best friends! After Shaker Lakes we went back to their house for a BBQ, fun games and fireworks! Jeremy manned the grill...
There were three families there... 14 kids between all of us! They had a blast.
Poor Ryan was on call and had to leave during dinner. Such is the life of a podiatrist until they are done with school!
Graham had fun with the waterballoons... and the hose... and anything else that had water involved.
He and 'Little Lincoln' have been good friends lately. I think it's hilarious that they are the same height... and Graham is a year and a half older than him. He got his mommy's short genes!
Jayne had fun lounging around in the tiny chairs... drinking mini sodas... and enjoying corn on the cob!
Lincoln was off with Reuben most of the time. We did see him occasionally when he came to grab another soda. They were in heaven with those mini sodas...
Peter was an angel baby... as usual.
See that gorgeous blonde hair mommy? That's my best friend, Kristen. We are so much alike it's scary sometimes. I am so grateful that I have her in my life.
Kristen taught us how to play the 'flick your shoe' game. You flick your shoe and see who can get theirs the farthest. Good old fashioned fun.
She's got mad shoe flicking skills.
I think our buddy, Nate, won the game though...
Still an angel...
Another fun game... watermelon seed spitting. That one was hilarious!
We tried to make a pyramid with all of the kids... this is how far we got...
Grace and Eve were off in their own little world most of the day... they showed up for all of the good stuff. Like the ice cream and popsicles. They are inseperable. I'm so glad they get to grow up together!
I love moments like these... hanging out with the people that you love.
After dinner we headed to see some amazing fireworks. They were awesome! Lots of the kids hung out in the back of the Ellsworth's truck to see them.
Grace had fun packing all of the little girls around. We tried to tell her that they are way too big to carry, but she had her own ideas.
I thought Peter would cry his eyes out when they started because he hates loud noises... but he loved them!
We are so blessed to live in such an incredible country. I think I take for granted all of the things I have been blessed with in my life. I love the fourth of July because it helps me remember all of the many freedoms that I have. I'm so grateful for the men and women who serve our country each and every day. I'm also grateful that we have 'family' out here to enjoy the holidays with!

I have to say it was definitely my best fourth of July! I hope Ryan can get in on more of the fun next year!
It looks like it was a great day. Where were the fireworks? I thought you told us they didn't have fireworks there.
